Visit at the Catholic Montessori Primary School in Kraków
The Bible Week with the Help Furaha Foundation at the Catholic Montessori Primary School run by the “Ziarnko Maku” Foundation in Kraków.
On the 13th March 2019 we visited the Catholic Montessori School in order to take part in the Bible Week.
Marek met the 1,2,3 grade pupils from the “Eagles”, “Bears” and “Lions” groups.
He told them about Kenya – the children showed their incredible geographical knowledge.
A dialogue with a 2nd grade pupil :-))):
Marek Krakus: Kenya borders many countries such as Somalia – there is Somalia here on the map.
Marcin (2nd grade): Excuse me, you are wrong. The country you are showing is not Somalia, it is Sudan – applause ;-))
Marek told the kids about missionaries – who they are and what they do.
The meeting was crowned with the song sung in the Swahili and the classic “hakuna matata” in the chorus.
Marek also met the older students (4,5,6 grade ones) and he told them about the Furaha Centre in Maru, he showed them the living conditions in Kenya with the film made during the home visits. He also told them about Krzysztof Drabik’s incredible achievement.
And they also sang “hakuna matata” with Marek playing the guitar.
Wow, what a great time! <3
