Marek Krakus’s visit to Poland
As our emotions have cooled down a little, we can share our impressions after last weekend and other days of Marek Krakus’s visit to Poland.
His visit was full of fruitful and astonishing meetings (we wrote about them in our previous posts)
- Visit at the Office of the Community of Kozy in order to thank Jacek Kaliński – Head of the Community for their participation in the “Goat for Family” Project.
- Visit at the “Orzeł” Kozy Sports Club in order to give the goat ownership certificate.
During the visit, the Board of the Foundation and its volunteers met in order to sum up our previous actions and talk about about plans for the future.
Marek also visited Fryderyk Karzełek, the founder of the 555Club, in order to thank him for his support.
Marek also dropped in on the car showroom to tell them about our project entitled “Car4Care – moving therapy”

We were honoured to take part in the Leadership Development Seminars at the invitation of our great partner – the DuoLife Company
What happened during the 15th LDS was beyond our wildest dreams.
Our stand was surrounded by the people who wanted to but beautiful dresses and scarves brought from Kenya in order to support our Foundation. Everything was sold and even a few people ordered some more dresses.
We gathered a lot of money for our project “Car4Care – moving therapy” – to buy a car for the Furaha Centre, which will help the therapists reach the most distant places in the savannah and help children with cerebral palsy and autism.
13,149.66PLN – this is the money we will add up to our quota for buying the car.
The participants of the seminars with pleasure put their money into the boxes held by our beautiful volunteers: Kasia, Agata, Krysia, Agnieszka, Iryna, Elżbieta and Ewa and our handsome volunteer Roman. On that day all the social media were full of colourful pictures with our wonderful volunteers.
The next exceptional children received their support within “Give me your helping hand” project.
The people who have already been supporting the kids, asked a lot of questions about the children – their condition, health and progress.

What is more – the next 7 goats were bought by the particiapnts. One goat will be owned by the Portugal DuoLife Team, as the Portuguese DuoLife Club Members decided to buy their own goat named TUGA.

the goat “LAVIJA”, Kasia and her family for BETI, the nuns from Częstochowa for 3 goats and priest Rafał for his goat named RAFIKA.
28 people joined our new action called “Car4Care – we are gathering kilometres”, in which together we are collecting kilometres and money to buy the car for the Furaha Centre. We still need 222 more people who will help us collect 70 700PLN in 134 days.

On Sunday, 7th July 2019 at 6a.m., 35 people participated in the short run withing the “To the beat of happiness” project – wow!!!
We received a lot of support and love during these days. A lot of people came to us with their ideas to support the Foundation – we will inform you about them soon.
A lot of people want to help us organising various small actions or joining our projects.
From the bottom of our heart are we grateful for your support.
