Help Furaha at Inspiriada 2019
Our Dear Friends,
our volunteers help us update our website together with spreading our mission and vision in the world in order to help as many exceptional children in Kenya as possible.
On the 28th September 2019 in Warsaw a special event took place – “Club 555 – Inspiriada”. This initiative gathers the people who want to grow and work on their own self-development.
Inspiriada Event and Club 555 were started and are led by Fryderyk Karzełek – a well-known coach, mentor and businessman. Fryderyk, through his attitude and activity gathers thousand of people of different ages.
Over 500 people participated in that Saturday meeting. A very special element of this Inspiriada was the fact that Fryderyk did his extraordinary pilgrimage – he walked over 2700kms from Poland, from his home to Spain to Santiago de Compostella.
And now, I need to explain what we, the people “enthused with the Furaha state of mind”, have in common with Fryderyk Karzełek and his activity. Thanks to Mariusz Kamiński – the initiator of “To the Beat of Happiness for Furaha” project, Marek Krakus met Fryderyk Karzełek before his pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostella. That meeting was very fruitful.
One of the results was Marek Krakus’s visit at Club 555 on the 13th July 2019; the second one was Fryderyk Karzełek’s envolvement in “To the Beat of Happiness” project. Fryderyk’s another idea is visiting Furaha Centre in Meru in Kenya next year.
I was at Inspiriada with a lot of people and those who already know our Help Furaha Foundation.
Together with Mariusz Kamiński and Adam Dziuba we decided to show the participants our “Furaha state of Mind” and we came to the event in our Kenyan outfits. Our clothes took the people’s attention, they were the topic of many discussions and gave us the opportunity to talk about the Furaha Centre, about our projects. We managed to show the participants how they could share their happiness (Furaha in swahili means: happiness, joy). A lot of people were “marked” with the Help Furaha stickers.
Obviously, Fryderyk Karzełek himself, was wearing our sticker on his jacket during the whole event.
We also used this event to give Fryderyk our thank-you letter for being involved in our project.
Thanks to this event, thanks to good emotions and incredible chats – more and more people learnt about our project. They saw what “Furaha State of Mind” means. They learnt about the Help Furaha Foundation and they heard how they could help the exceptional children in Kenya.
