„Goat for Family”

This project started in March 2019 when the first sponsors gave money for the first goats.

The money we collected let us buy 43 goats for 43 families of the children with cerebral palsy and autism who take part in our therapies regularly.

This was quite a challenge for us. The whole process took us a few weeks.

We needed to prepare the families to take part in the project.

We looked for good farms with good goats.

We needed to prepare the documents and cards for each and every goat.

We would like to thank all the sponsors for their donations and the Community of Kozy for its Honorary Patronage over this project.

Every goat has the name given by its sponsor.

This project has 4 dimensions:

1. Satisfaction of the Sponsors.
2. Improving the life conditions of the families taking part in the project.
3. Healthy milk for the children
4. Motivation for other families who were neglecting the therapy of their children.

The 8th of August will always be remembered by 34 families in Kenya.

On that day the first goats were given to their new owners, who are obliged to take care of them and give the first baby goats to the families who are waiting for the next ones.

The next 9 goats will be given next week.
