Car for care – Moving Therapy Project
Project completed – thank you to all donors 🙂
In January 2018 we started the project called „Therapy on wheels – moving therapy project“ by going to Mikinduri, 30 kilometres from Meru. The aim of this project is to help as many children who cannot come to our centre as possible. Travelling through the vastness of Kenya, we want to reach as many disabled children as possible creating the „Oases of Happiness“ in the savannah. That is why, we need
a reliable car. See what car we are going to buy.
The Furaha Centre Team would like reach the areas far from the town. However, the conditions on the roads in Kenya are very poor. In
the future we would like to reach the places in the savannah where
the situation in the wet season is bad. We do not want to be stopped by malicious weather, wet seasons or any other ideas of Kenyan weather.
Many people and activities support this project. Now, we have starter the action called „Car4Care – we are gathering kilometers”. You can read more about this action here:
