March 2019 – Month of Building the Awareness of the Cerebral Palsy
The 25th March is the day when the Furaha Centre community together with the Hearful Hand Foundation (students of the KEMU – Methodist University) commemorated the month of building the awareness of the cerebral palsy.
At 9a.m. Jadlyne Krakus, the Director of the Furaha Centre together with Sussy, the therapist and Ruth, the caretaker were the guests at the local WERU TV. They spoke about the activity of the Centre and encouraged the parents of the children with cerebral palsy to take advantage of the workshop therapy for their kids free of charge.
In the afternoon WERU TV with Mc Laing’o – the Ambassador of the Furaha Centre, TV presenter and local celebrity visited our Centre and spent some time with our children.
The event ws shown in the evening news.
We are very happy that more and more people speak about our Centre in the Meru County. It helps us help more children with cerebral palsy in our region.
